Barbarossa VIP Boat cruise options are divided into two primary categories:
Part 1: Open Sea Cruises (Bayadah or Abu Tair)
Abu Tair Only: Enhanced Family Privacy
Open Sea Timings & Policies:
- Destinations: Bayadah Island, or Abu Tair Island (higher privacy for families).
- 6-Hour Cruise Timings (2 trips daily):
Slot 1: (5:00 or 6:00 AM) to (11:00 AM or 12:00 PM) |
Slot 2: 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
- 9-Hour Cruise Timing (1 trip daily): (5:00 or 6:00 AM) to (2:00 or 3:00 PM).
- Trip Confirmation: Final confirmation takes place 24 hours prior to verify weather & maritime conditions.
- Coast Guard Sailing Permit: A copy of National ID or Iqama must be sent after final trip confirmation to issue the official permit.
- Max Capacity: Up to 10 guests.
- Crew on Board: 1 Captain only for 6-hour & 9-hour Standard Packages; Captain with Female Assistant for the 9-hour VIP Package.

Part 2: Picnic & Creek Sightseeing (South Obhur)

Picnic Timings & Booking Rules:
- Operating Hours: 4:00 PM to 12:00 Midnight (Saturday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday).
- Sunday Off-Day: The Sunday holiday can be shifted to the following day (Monday) if a customer wishes to book 2 hours or more for Sunday and no prior booking exists for Monday.
- Preparation Time:
Regular picnic cruises require no preparation time.
Dinner or party cruises require 30 minutes of setup before cruise departure (e.g. an 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM birthday trip requires setup from 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM).
- Guest Arrival: Guests must arrive 15 minutes prior to departure. Any delay is counted as part of the reserved cruise time.
- Advance Booking & Minimum Duration: Dinner and celebration cruises require booking at least 4 hours in advance. Minimum duration for dinner/parties is 1 full hour (half-hour bookings are not available for dinners or parties; 30-minute booking is only available for regular sightseeing).
- Complimentary Hospitality: Fresh American coffee and tea are served complimentary during picnic trips exceeding 1 hour, as well as on all dinner and party cruises.
